We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on a live construction site undergoing facade remediation works. This short-term role is ideal for a hands-on, organised professional who can quickly integrate with the team and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and supervise daily site activities related to facade remediation.
2. Ensure all works are carried out in line with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
3. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain smooth workflow.
4. Monitor progress, maintain site records, and provide regular updates to the project manager.
5. Carry out site inspections and enforce H&S compliance at all times.
6. Address on-site issues promptly and proactively to minimise disruption.
7. Liaise with building management, residents, and external stakeholders where required.
Requirements
8. Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within facade remediation, cladding replacement, or external envelope works.
9. Strong knowledge of construction H&S regulations and site management best practices.
10. SMSTS (or equivalent), CSCS, and First Aid certification preferred.
11. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously.
12. Ability to work independently and deliver results to tight timelines.
