Catering Manager

Location: The Cornerstone Academy, Poole, Dorset
Term Time only – 38 school weeks plus training days
Working hours hours per week, 7am – 3pm daily (some flexibility in working pattern available for the right candidate)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Catering Manager.
The role
The Catering Manager be responsible for the day-to-day catering operations in the school including ordering, stock control, budget management, and service quality along with line management of other kitchen staff. This is a hands on role working with a well-established and friendly catering team and the role has a high level of autonomy along with great resources.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have an Intermediate or Advanced Food Hygiene certification & NVQ 4 or relevant experience
* Be experienced in managing a high-volume food production outlet
* Have good communication and team leadership skills.
* Have allergens knowledge
* Be committed to their CPD
