Site Manager
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Project Type: Major Infrastructure / Fencing Works
Duration: Long-Term Opportunity
Employment Type: Freelance (Outside IR35)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee fencing works on a major infrastructure project in Aylesbury.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of site operations, ensuring works are completed to programme, quality standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
·Manage day-to-day site activities and workforce.
·Coordinate subcontractors, plant, materials, and logistics.
·Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
·Monitor project progress and report to senior management.
·Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
·Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
·Ensure works are delivered in accordance with programme and specification.
Requirements
·Valid Gold CSCS Card or above (Black Card preferred).
·Proven experience managing construction, infrastructure, or fencing projects.
·Strong leadership and communication skills.
·Good understanding of health and safety legislation and site management procedures.
·Ability to manage multiple work fronts and site teams.
·SMSTS and First Aid certifications preferred.
