Due to continued growth, they are looking for an ambitious Graduate Technical Sales Executive to join their commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to build a successful career in sales, business development, and customer relationship management. You'll receive training, support, and exposure to both the commercial and technical sides of the business, giving you a strong foundation for long-term career progression.
The Opportunity
This role is designed as a development pathway into a customer-facing sales career.
Initially, you'll spend time learning the company's products, services, customers, and markets while supporting lead generation and business development activities. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll gradually transition into a role that involves more face-to-face customer interaction, site visits, industry events, and relationship management.
You'll work alongside experienced sales professionals, engineers, and operational teams, gaining valuable commercial experience while developing the skills needed to become a successful technical sales professional.
What You'll Be Doing
* Researching potential customers and identifying new business opportunities.
* Contacting prospective clients through phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other business development channels.
* Qualifying sales opportunities and building a pipeline of future business.
* Following up customer enquiries and quotations.
* Building professional relationships with prospective and existing customers.
* Maintaining accurate records and activity through the company's CRM system.
* Collaborating with technical and operational teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
* Supporting the wider sales team with customer engagement activities.
* Attending exhibitions, trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings.
* Progressing into face-to-face customer interactions and field-based sales activities as part of your development.
