The Opportunity


We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Architect to play a key role in shaping data strategy and delivering complex, high-profile government programmes. You will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, cloud-native data architectures, working with cutting-edge technologies across AWS and other modern platforms.

This role combines technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on architecture, making it ideal for someone who wants to influence major programmes while mentoring high-performing engineering teams.



Key Responsibilities

1. Engage with senior stakeholders to understand requirements and provide strategic direction
2. Design and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient data architectures aligned to business needs
3. Architect and implement cloud-native data solutions across AWS and other platforms
4. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional data teams
5. Define best practices across data architecture, cloud engineering, and security
6. Design and oversee real-time and batch processing solutions, including streaming architectures
7. Ensure compliance with government standards, security policies, and data regulations
