Head of Reward Governance 18 Month FTC
Do you want to be part of the Reward Governance and HR success story of this prestigious governing organization by the HR Director to help provide support to the delivery of groups reward strategy.
The keys responsibilities include:
Working within the corporate People & HR function and as part of a reward transformation project team, this role will promote and ensure governance and compliance. and provide guidance to lead HR policy development in this specialism. Responsibility for job evaluation governance, providing advice, and ensuring compliance and reporting for assurance.
Working in close collaboration with the Policy & Industrial Relations Lead, review and develop policies, progress in a timely manner with appropriate consultation with trade union and adhere to policy governance standards. Take the lead to ensure that a quality improvement approach is at the heart of everything we do.
* Lead and ensure the effective delivery of the corporations’ governance processes relating to job evaluation, pay and grading frameworks.
* Maintain consistency and transparency in evaluations, introduce & oversee governance protocols, support organisational design initiatives and provide expert advice to stakeholders.
* Provide guidance to lead HR policy development in this specialism.
* Drive continuous improvement in job evaluation methodology and align outcomes within the governance framework.
Experience required:
* Significant breadth of relevant experience in all aspects of reward management
* Excellent knowledge of job evaluation and reward practices including pay models, job evaluation frameworks, job families
* Experience of delivering reward transformation and associated changes
* Excellent project management skills
* You will ideally need to have previous public sector or have worked in a unionized environment before.
