Acting as the technical lead and subject‑matter expert within the Head Office Pricing function. Designing, building and implementing pricing models and rating logic to support robust, compliant pricing decisions. 80% hybrid working with 20% from our Stratford Upon Avon Office.
Working in Pricing at NFU Mutual feels genuinely different. With a clear focus on customers rather than shareholders, the team’s work has real impact, supporting local communities, protecting livelihoods, and helping our UK‑wide Agency Network deliver exceptional service.
The team is expanding and creating exciting opportunities to join at a pivotal moment. You’ll play an important role in shaping and delivering successful outcomes for our customers. You’ll be a Lead Pricing Developer, shaping and delivering high‑quality pricing solutions, acting as an escalation point for technical queries and ensuring pricing outputs meet regulatory, business and customer expectations.
Work closely with stakeholders across Pricing, Underwriting, IT and wider departments, influencing decisions through insight and expertise. Alongside hands‑on delivery, you’ll act as a technical role model, supporting colleagues through coaching, mentoring and change. Internally, this role is called Principal Analyst.
This is a senior technical role offering hands‑on development opportunities. You bring deep technical expertise in pricing, rating development or an actuarial environment, a proactive, delivery‑focused mindset, and confidence leading technical work.
