This role is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to pursue a role in Sales or Events at Gleneagles. You’ll be working mainly Tuesday to Saturday, with the flexibility that these days may change, depending on the needs of our business. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: Communicating directly with our guests to convert social group & event enquiries into confirmed bookings, building strong client relationships and growing repeat business Preparing tailored proposals selling Gleneagles and our fabulous event spaces whilst meeting our clients’ bespoke needs You’ll be responsible for the coordination of an array of social occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, society events, charities, Christmas parties and weddings Making follow up calls post event to obtain invaluable feedback, constructively sharing this with the relevant departments Approaching site visits confidently and enthusiastically, always with the aim to ‘wow’ potential clients, ensuring they appreciate the full Gleneagles experience, with surprise and delight along the way Developing strong working relationships with our external wedding planner and event management companies, building a robust preferred supplier list, working together to drive business to the estate Meticulously preparing Function Sheets deliver the most amazing events Collaborating with your colleagues across the estate to ensure each event is tailored to our client’s needs Keeping up to date and experiencing new products across the Glorious Playground, nothing ever stands still at Gleneagles!
