gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Handyman to work at their facility based near Sefton
Performance Objectives
* Painting and decorating inside and outside of the buildings.
* Plumbing duties as required in toilets, wash stations and showers.
* Internal and External maintenance and repair work
* Flooring issues and painting floors
* General cleaning in and around the site
* Sweeping and jet washing the yards including the Loading Bays and car park
* Rectify pest control issues
* Clearing and cleaning of the low risk sealed area (Red Floor) including walls, floors and surfaces
* Clearing of weeds and debris around the perimeter of the building
* Assisting with moving machinery, furniture and/or stores around the factory
* External lighting and signage maintenance
* Ensure any security concerns are flagged and rectified
* Carry out any external health and safety actions
* Gritting and snow/ice removal in winter
* Other reasonable tasks as agreed with the Engineering Manager
Person Specification
* DIY attitude
* Ability to work unaided
