SEN Learning Mentor – Secondary School inEnfield
We are searching for a dedicated SEN Learning Mentor to join our secondary school in Enfield. You will provide both academic and emotional support to students with complex needs, helping them to achieve their full potential. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group academic and emotional support to students with complex needs.
* Assist teachers in adapting learning materials and strategies to meet the needs of SEN students.
* Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.
* Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.
* Help students develop essential skills, including problem-solving, resilience, and self-regulation.
* Collaborate with external agencies and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, particularly those with complex needs, is essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
* A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach to supporting students with varying needs.
* A DBS check is required.
