Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and experienced Catering Manager to lead and develop our catering operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a range of creative food concepts that meet the highest standards in food production, presentation and service within a large‑scale school environment.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement innovative food concepts for the menu and service.
* Lead the catering team, fostering teamwork and motivating staff.
* Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation and service.
* Ensure compliance with catering legislation and health & safety regulations.
* Manage the catering budget and contribute to cost‑effective procurement.
* Communicate with school staff, parents and suppliers to deliver excellent customer care.
Qualifications
* In‑depth knowledge of practical cooking in a large‑scale environment.
* Sound knowledge of catering legislation and budget management experience.
* Supervisory experience with strong leadership and motivational skills.
* Excellent communication skills and an emphasis on customer care.
* IT skills and a sound knowledge of catering legislation.
* Passion for quality, coupled with the highest standards in food production, presentation and service.

Salary and Terms
Salary: £25,583 pro rata per annum – £13.26 per hour
Scale: Grade 4
Vacancy Type: Term time only – 38.60 weeks – 44.59 weeks paid inc holiday pay
Number of hours: PT 24.00 hours per week Monday to Friday
Starting Date: 26th January 2026
