Quality Manager
Location: Avonmouth
Hours: Full-time, permanent
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Manager who will be responsible for maintaining quality standards and ensuring the products are built and presented to the highest standards.
This role requires strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage people and processes effectively in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set, monitor, and maintain quality standards, in consultation with the General Manager
* Ensure the team has the correct tools, specifications and standards, to perform their duties effectively
* Carry out product inspections and audits as required
* Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times in line with Health & Safety guidelines
* Train, coach, and mentor team members to improve skills, productivity, and production flow across assigned lines
* Identify production pinch points and update the General Manager daily, proposing practical solutions
* Follow and uphold all policies and procedures at all times
About You:
* Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
* Confident working on the shop floor and leading by example
* Fair, approachable, and able to manage people with differing experience levels and backgrounds
* Calm and effective under pressure
* Positive and professional when dealing with conflict or challenging situations
* A strong problem solver who uses team input to resolve issues
* Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel for basic reporting and tracking
* Willing to learn new processes, product lines, and leadership skills
* Accountable for your own workload and the performance of your team
Please note that any offer of employment is conditional upon successful completion of BPSS and SC clearance. This requires the applicant to be a sole British national with a minimum of five years’ continuous UK address history, typically with no periods of 30 consecutive days or more spent outside the UK.
