Job Description
We are hiring a Catering Manager at Looe Primary School who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is working term-time only and includes no weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.
The Role
* £13.35 per hour
* 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Term-time only – working 39 weeks per year
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
* Ensuring the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislations and procedures
* Enhancing the company's reputation for excellent food and service with the client and customers, consistently exceeding expectations
* Managing the day-to-day running of the location, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
* Serving as the main point of contact for the client in your school, recommending and implementing regular adjustments and improvements
* Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets to ensure achievement
* Supporting and training teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel in their roles by completing all training and managing performance
