We’re Hiring: Business Support & HR Officer (Part-Time)
Hybrid | Based at Business Cyber Centre, Chippenham, Wiltshire
£24,000 – £27,500 pro rata (Part-Time)

Advanced Systems Understanding (ASU) is looking for a highly organised and proactiveBusiness Support & HR Officer to keep our HR, finance, and admin functions running smoothly.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role that supports our leadership team, external partners, and wider business. If you enjoy variety, working independently, and making things work behind the scenes — this could be the perfect role for you.
What you’ll do - part-time, flexible hours:
️ HR admin – draft contracts, onboard new starters, book training, manage records in BrightHR
Finance support – process invoices, track expenses, support payroll input, liaise with finance partners
Business admin – coordinate travel, manage subscriptions and insurance, keep systems up to date
Be the link – between our team, our directors, and our trusted third-party providers
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in HR or business support roles
* Comfortable working with tools like Xero, Microsoft Office, BrightHR
* Reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
* Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualifications or similar (nice to have)
