We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful HR Officer to join our team. This role is central to fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting employee development, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The HR Officer will work across all stages of the employee lifecycle—from recruitment to exit—and act as a key liaison between staff and management.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, interviews, and new hire orientation
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and legal requirements
* Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
* Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll coordination and benefits enrollment
* Support performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback systems
* Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and engagement
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote workplace wellbeing
* Advise managers on HR best practices and employment law
* Contribute to strategic workforce planning and organisational development
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
* Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
* Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
* Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach
Education and Experience
* CIPD qualification (or working towards) is advantageous
* Prior experience in a generalist HR role is preferred
