* Provide legal advice on a wide range of employment and labour law issues across multiple EU jurisdictions and identifying any training needs for the business.
* Manage industrial relations matters, including collective grievances, disputes process with our employee representative bodies and support with negotiation strategies.
* Oversee employment litigation and advise on litigation strategies.
* Support business projects such as new base openings, acquisitions, and TUPE transfers.
* Keep the business updated on legislative changes and ensure compliance across the different countries.
* Manage external counsel and work towards reducing external legal costs.
A qualified employment lawyer with knowledge of employment law in at least one of easyJet's key base locations (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland). Experience across a number of these jurisdictions is preferred but not essential.
* 4-7 years of post-qualification experience in employment law, with a preference for candidates who have both law firm and in-house experience.
* Individuals who are proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence at a senior level.
* A team player with a strong sense of ownership and delivery.
