Our client is a reputable international Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, who are now looking for a strategic and collaborative Senior HR Business Partner to join their wider HR team in London, covering a 12 month maternity leave.
The main responsibilities for the Senior HR Business Partner will be to work collaboratively with the business to help them achieve their strategic goals through identifying the organisational and people priorities, adopting a responsive, client and solution-focused approach, delivering best practice, and commercial HR solutions. The role holder will establish themselves as trusted advisor within the business and with the broader HR team.
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:
* Providing strategic input into the office HR strategy and assisting with or leading on initiatives that deliver the overall HR and Firm Strategy.
* Leading on several strategic HR projects and partnering with the business leaders delivering both operational and strategic initiatives and priorities.
* Developing and delivering the annual HR plan which drives employee engagement, a high-performance culture and ensures best practice HR solutions.
* Clarifying the resource requirements for client groups and engaging the Recruitment team to deliver against these needs.
* Providing trusted one-to-one guidance and coaching to partners on all HR matters.
* Advising on HR policy, making or recommending appropriate decisions.
* Coordinating performance reviews, salary and bonus reviews, and promotions at all levels.
* Effectively and proactively managing all complex ER cases for assigned groups.
* Looking for opportunities to improve internal processes/services and work with the appropriate people to implement these changes.
* Collaborating and sharing best practice with the other HR Business Partners and wider HR Team
* Formal people management responsibility, along with more informal responsibilities such as coaching, mentoring, and motivating the less experienced HRBPs and HR Coordinator giving regular feedback and feeding into formal performance reviews.
The Senior HR Business Partner will have previous HR experience operating in a similar senior-level role within a legal or professional services organisation, along with being a strategic thinker with a commercial understanding translating business goals into HR priorities. The right candidate will demonstrate a flexible approach to meet current and future business needs and embed new ways of working while developing strong relationships with partners and employees at all levels. The Senior HR Business Partner will be a leader developing solutions to a wide range of highly complex problems, requiring creativity and innovation while motivating people and implementing a collaborative approach.
