Salary: £100 - £115 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 3.30pm
Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience in a secondary school before progressing into teacher training, educational psychology, or youth work? We are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Bolton that is committed to developing aspiring education professionals. The school offers a positive learning environment with strong pastoral support, excellent staff collaboration, and clear behaviour expectations.
Responsibilities
* Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the classroom.
* Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Provide 1:1 and small group academic support.
* Support students with varying learning needs and abilities.
* Help maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
* Gain valuable experience in behaviour management and lesson delivery.
Qualifications
* A degree (2:1 or above preferred, all subjects considered).
* A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive, patient, and positive attitude.
* Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
Eligibility Requirements
* Hold Right to Work in the UK.
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
* Provide two professional child‑related references.
