Overview
Freelance Highways Site Manager – Goole (4-Month Contract). Contract Position | Goole | Minor Civils | Approx. 4 Months | Competitive Day Rate. We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a minor civils highways project just outside Goole. This is a 4-month contract role, ideal for someone with a solid background in highways maintenance, small-scale civils works, and site supervision.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure works are delivered on time and to specification
* Manage subcontractors and ensure HSEQ compliance across the site
* Liaise with clients, local authorities, and project stakeholders
* Report progress and manage documentation related to the works
* Coordinate traffic management, utilities, and public interface where necessary
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager in highways or minor civils
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold card preferred), and First Aid certified, safety critical medical is a MUST!
* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site management best practices
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site daily
* Able to start within the next 1–2 weeks
