Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing and supporting a team of Quality Engineers to drive risk mitigation with suppliers
Reviewing poor performance from suppliers to understand the reasoning
Using problem-solving toolkits to resolve the root cause of any issues identified
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain and Programme teams
Reporting findings into the Programme Senior Leadership team
Travelling to supplier sites, mostly within the UK but with potential for international travel in the future
Your skills and experience:
Previous leadership experience
Demonstrable experience within a Quality role
Knowledge of APQP methodologies and range of quality toolkit (Root Cause Analysis)
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience within Supply Chain
Auditing experience
