Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Management Plans.
- Ensure compliance with Network Rail standards, industry regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Carry out inspections, audits, and surveillance to verify compliance with specifications.
- Lead investigations into non-conformances and implement robust corrective actions.
- Provide quality-related support and guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
- Manage documentation control processes for quality records and certifications.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and third parties on all quality matters.
The Quality Manager must have experience working client side, and on large scale Rail and Civils projects.
Essential for the Quality Manager -
- Proven track record as a Quality Manager (or Senior Quality Engineer) in the rail sector.
- Strong civils experience (structures, earthworks, drainage, foundations, trackside works, infrastructure, stations heavy civils).
- Excellent knowledge of Network Rail standards
- IRCA Lead Auditor qualification or equivalent,
- PTS
This will be a long term freelabce role, initial 6-12 month contract
£500 per day Inside IR35
Start date - before end Sept (notices to be considered)
