Freelance Construction Site Manager – Retail Fit-Out (Nights) Location: Various sites across London Start: Immediate / ASAP About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee retail fit-out projects across multiple London locations, working on night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, proactive Site Manager with strong organisational and client-facing skills, looking to join a fast-paced, high-profile retail programme. You’ll be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring H&S compliance, and driving projects to tight deadlines — maintaining quality and safety on live retail environments. Key Responsibilities * Manage site operations during night works across multiple retail fit-out sites. * Coordinate subcontractors and ensure project timelines are achieved. * Enforce health & safety procedures and maintain site documentation. * Liaise with the client, project team, and wider delivery partners. * Oversee site set-up, logistics, and handover. Requirements * SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) * CSCS (Managers Card) * First Aid at Work * Asbestos Awareness * Temporary Works Supervisor or Coordinator (preferred) * Proven experience managing retail fit-out / refurbishment projects * Flexible to travel across multiple sites within London * Strong leadership and communication skills * Willingness to work night shifts on a freelance basis This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Approach Personnel Ltd that is operating as an employment business.
