We're looking for a long-term, part-time podcast editor for Design For Engagement w/ The Octalysis Group. You'll work with the #1 gamification consultancy in the world to turn long-form conversations about gamification and behavioral science into:
• Polished 25–35 minute podcast episodes
• High-impact less than 60 second YouTube Shorts
Through editing with us, you'll deepen your understanding of gamification and behavioral science and you can join us in our mission is to help product & innovation leaders create user experiences that are engaging, enjoyable, and profitable while helping their customers long term wellbeing.
Application Task
To apply, you'll (for free to screen applicants):
• Create a 10–40 sec teaser from our provided recording
• Create one less than 60 sec YouTube Short
• Use our brand subtitle styling
• Include an outro with our logo

• Pacing and tension
• Subtitle placement and design
• Audio leveling & color consistency
• Creative initiative
We are not looking for flashy dopamine editing. We value clarity, intellectual intrigue, and thoughtful storytelling.
The Ideal Candidate
• Has edited thought-leader podcasts before
• Understands product/design/behavioral science audiences
• Thinks like a storyteller, not just a cutter
• Enjoys creative problem-solving
• Cares about making the world better through their work
Compensation & Workflow
• Paid per podcast episode + 3 shorts (every month)
• Part-time expectation: ~4 episodes per month
• Each episode + shorts: (Give us your own pricing proposal and we can negotiate)
• Turnaround: You should be able to a podcast within 3-5 days
• Revisions: Unlimited revisions (does not affect payment)
We pre-record episodes well in advance. We value reliability and consistency.
