Red Cactus Events / Team Building Experiences are a leading corporate event & team building company specialising in the management and delivery of a diverse range of unique experiences throughout the UK.

An exciting new opportunity has become available for a corporate events sales executive to join our sales team.

Duties:

Your duties would include, but aren't limited to, the following –

Sales - Create corporate quotations and proposals based on customer requirements via enquiries made through our brands, conduct pre, post and follow-up calls to identify changing needs, convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, issue invoices and ensure a smooth handover to Events Team or Corporate Care Specialist.

Partner Management - Manage and maintain relationships in conjunction with the Sales director with all activity suppliers through regular, clear and effective communication. Ensure all supplier information is kept up-to-date across our IT systems (database, website, quote templates, etc) and inform MD & team of changes.

Venue & Supplier Sourcing – In order to ensure we are the key supplier for all our clients' needs, we now offer a full venue finding service in house, which could be room hire, food and drink packages and accommodation.

Other key areas of responsibility will be;

* Assist at events across the UK when requested which could be outside your normal working hours and could involve occasional overnight stays.
* Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets set by the management team.
* Follow sales procedures, ensuring all quotations and leads are responded to within the same working day
* Actively follow up on enquiries and bookings to ensure the highest level of conversion and accurately record and follow up on all lost business.
* To manage client information through Hubspot and the database ensuring this is relevant and timely.
* Prepare and collate final event details to hand over to our events delivery team/ third party suppliers upon payment of client invoice.
* Flexibility to assist at events across the UK when requested which could be outside your normal working hours and could involve occasional overnight stays.
* In quieter periods, project work will be assigned for all areas of the business not always deemed similar to your day to day role, but with the objective to improve all parts of our business
* Attend and support relevant trade fairs/exhibitions as requested.
* Attend and actively participate in weekly and quarterly sales meetings.
* To be proactive, looking at new and lapsed data- cold and warm calling.
* Be fully aware of the pricing structure and maximise opportunity during peak and tough periods.
* Be fully aware of the up-selling opportunities to increase sales.
* Fully aware of market trends and adapting to industry changes.

Salary: £28,000 plus Quarterly Commission

Requirements:

* 2 Years Corporate Sales Experience within a customer led environment
* Experience within an office environment
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Sound administrative capabilities
* Excellent IT Skills (Outlook, CRM systems)
* Flexible and adaptability to changing event requirements.
* Comfortable conducting client meetings over the phone and on Teams / Zoom
* A willingness and ambition to make the business a better place
* Someone with a voice willing to express innovative and creative ideas to help company growth.
* A smile and honest approach to work
* Whilst knowledge of the industry isn't essential, a genuine interest in events is desirable

Hours: 40 Hours per week Monday - Friday (08:30-17:00)

Our office is located within walking distance of Appleford Train Station which is accessible from Didcot Train Station and has links to Oxford and Radley.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
