Globe-Trotter is a truly global business trading in more than 80 countries, with significant brand awareness in Japan, Europe and the USA and an increasing footprint in the GCC, China and South East Asia. The Group successfully operates three websites globally, Japan, USA and UK (ROW), and is now looking to accelerate growth in all markets.
With exciting growth plans we are looking for a Marketing Director to devise, develop and deliver marketing campaigns to drive sales, increase brand awareness and enhance the value of the Brand globally.
The successful candidate will work closely with the broader marketing team on brand communications and content and external digital agencies to develop and execute paid media strategies.
Leading the execution of all marketing plans across all channels, territories and customers.
Reviewing and reporting on all areas of the marketing strategies and its implementation.
Managing creative agencies and retained partners in UK, US, France and Japan.
Efficiently managing the annual marketing budgets.
Consistently identify new or expanding revenue opportunities and strategising the implementation of plans.
Manage and lead the marketing team
Strategically build Globe-Trotter digital sales funnel
Planning and forecasting, budgeting
Expand and optimise performance of existing channels
Identify and deliver growth opportunities.
Help lead the development of the roadmap to deliver successful growth in all channels in all key territories.
Collaborating with senior team members across all departments to uncover insights and create innovative marketing and branding strategies.
Conduct strategic marketing analysis that will help guide marketing messages.
Working to continuously ensure the company marketing goals are communicated across the entire organisation and improving the company’s marketing outreach efforts.
Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on all marketing activities, results, and ROI.
Digital performance marketing
~ Paid search – drive profitable performance in global markets with a focus on UK, US, France and Japan.
~ Paid social – drive profitable performance in global markets with a focus on UK, US, France and Japan.
~ Email / CRM / Customer Flows – work with the marketing team to create demand and conversion.
~3rd party – discover new acquisition channels that can deliver profitable and scalable traffic.
~ Reporting and attribution – educate the senior and wider Globe-Trotter team on activity delivered, strategy and performance.
Demonstrable track record of managing all marketing functions delivering scalable profitable growth in a similar business.
Experience of working in small teams, as a decision maker, working with external digital agencies.
Experience of working in multiple territories and ability to flex solutions to maximise performance in all channels and markets.
Experience and understanding of luxury retail and the nuisances in approach to digital marketing when compared with mass retail.
Plan, implement and prioritise data-led commercial initiatives, with a strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and adapt marketing strategies to enhance performance
Excellent analytical and organisational skills, able to manage multiple responsibilities and projects.
