Role Description
To provide generalist HR advice and support to management and staff at our 6 branches, focusing on Employee Relations and HR administration. Tasks include training and development, coaching, and day-to-day operations assistance.
We seek an energetic individual passionate about People, with some ER knowledge to assist with cases and contribute to various tasks to support the business. This role offers great exposure to HR Generalist responsibilities with strong support from colleagues.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and probation hearings.
2. Lead or attend employee relations meetings.
3. Advise managers and employees on HR issues to prevent escalation.
4. Handle legal issue escalations, including small claims or complex customer complaints.
5. Manage the rota system and assist with payroll updates.
6. Assist with insurance procedures, claims, investigations, and statements.
7. Maintain health & safety records and liaise with third-party agencies.
8. Organize and coordinate facilities maintenance and related procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Human Resources and HR Management skills.
2. Experience in developing and implementing HR policies.
3. Employee Relations skills.
4. Proficiency in Job Description Development.
5. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
6. Ability to work effectively within a team.
7. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
8. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
