Expro are currently recruiting for a Service Quality Manager - FTC 12months to join the Tubular Running Services team based in Aberdeen.
Overall Purpose of the Job
The overall purpose of the job is to drive and improve service quality within Well Construction in the ESSA region; as part of the Global Service Delivery role out. By auditing, coaching and monitoring locations within the region requiring support by travelling to the locations and providing remote support.
In order to deliver the expected standards, the Service Quality Manager will be required to work at a variety of levels interfacing with Region and Group Product line and the in country operational teams throughout the region. The job ensures that consistent operating standards are understood and adhered to, that personnel are competent, equipment is fit for purpose and the global support structure is appropriate. The position proactively assists in the maintenance, awareness and development of the area of responsibility and to provide information, advice and support to personnel within this department. This is a broad role where the holder must be able to prioritise workload and deal with key issues, many of which have varying delivery timeframes.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
1. Work with Group product line supporting the service delivery role out to Well Construction within the ESSA region.
2. Improve service quality across the area of responsibility.
3. Audit in country teams on the operational delivery procedures and process’. To ensure full compliance is met.
4. Host input sessions with in country teams to capture confusion / barrier with current process’
5. Develop clear action and improvement plans on area of review.
6. Maintain and develop the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with Industry standards and organisational needs.
7. Maintain and manage the quality processes, procedures and plans operated within the area of responsibility in accordance with ISO9001;2008 and maintaining accreditation accordingly.
8. Ensure service quality is maintained on new projects with appropriate personnel, equipment and operating procedures.
9. Ensure best practice is developed and employed across all operating regions driving a consistent high standard and approach to service quality management.
10. Reduce Non Productive Time within Well Construction product line.
11. Maintain and manage interfaces between internal departments to ensure understanding and compliance with the QA requirements.
12. Support investigations on service quality incidents and drive lessons learned.
13. Control and develop department and project specific quality processes and procedures.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
14. Extensive previous experience in a Quality role
15. ISO 9001:2008 Internal Auditor qualification (IRCA Approved)
16. Experience of International Standards including ISO 9001
17. Experience of process and procedure writing
18. Working Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and Statistical Analysis tools
19. Working Knowledge of other International Standards including API Q2, API 6A & 14A and BS EN 10204
20. Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word) 8. Previous supervisory experience
