SEMH Learning Mentor
Hours: 8:30 - 3:30 Monday-Friday (Full-time)
Location: Launceston
Start date: Role to start as soon as onboarding is complete
Pay: £95 - £105 per day, dependant on experience - To be discussed upon registration
Long-Term Teachers are on the lookout for a Learning mentor with experience in SEN/SEMH to work at a wonderful school in Launceston working with children aged 4-16!
The Desired Candidate will have:
Experience working with children/Young people with special needs. (This could be in a school setting or within roles with transferable skills like care, youth work or coaching.)
Strong knowledge and understanding of strategies to support young people with both their studies and wellbeing
Understanding of additional needs including ASD, SEMH and ADHD.
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
