Job Description Overview My client are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee a residential refurbishment project based just outside of Scarborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is completed on schedule. Day-to-day Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers Managing on-site personnel and addressing any issues or concerns Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards Communicating with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress Implementing and enforcing site policies and procedures Identifying and resolving any challenges or obstacles that may impact project delivery Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors and suppliers Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timeline and budget Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards Manage construction personnel and ensure a productive and efficient work environment Communicate with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any issues that may arise Implement and enforce site policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality control measures Collaborate with project managers and other team members to streamline operations and improve project efficiency Proactively identify and resolve any challenges or obstacles that may impact project delivery Qualifications Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential refurbishment projects Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Experience in budget management and cost control OSHA certification or other relevant safety training is a plus SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid as a minimum
