About The Role

The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing and developing profitable sales of the Company’s portfolio and driving the growth of our premium spirits portfolio within Southern England, with a particular emphasis on prestige retailers in London and surrounding areas. The role requires a passionate and commercially astute individual to build strong relationships, secure new opportunities, and ensure the highest level of brand visibility and sales performance.

Main Responsibilities

* Manage existing business in assigned accounts, including developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key retailers and premium independent outlets within the territory.
* Monitor performance against budgets and sales targets.
* Review and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
* Manage promotional budgets.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities and listings for our premium spirits portfolio, focusing on Scotch Malts, World Whisky, Rum, and Vodka.
* Implement UK Sales and Marketing strategies within the territory by brand.
* Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date market, commercial, and customer records.
* Assist in regional strategies to maintain relevance across the portfolio.
* Collaborate with teams such as Brand Education to plan and execute tastings and masterclasses with retail partners.
* Work with channel marketing on trade initiatives and activations to enhance brand awareness and visibility.
* Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to adapt strategies and provide feedback.
* Manage personal professional development to achieve work and career goals.

About You

Personal Attributes

* Passionate about premium spirits.
* Results-driven and target-oriented with a proactive, self-motivated mindset.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in PC applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Professional Requirements

* HND/HNC or equivalent, preferably in a business-related field.
* Proven experience in a sales environment, preferably within the wine and spirits sector.
* Experience working with prestige retailers is preferred.
* Full, clean driving license is required.
