Responsibilities
* Secure new customers and generate orders by understanding market and client needs
* Follow up and provide updates on tender and live projects
* Maintain communication with current and prospective customers to build strong relationships
* Respond promptly to inquiries with accurate quotations
* Review pricing strategies and re-quote to remain competitive
* Gather market intelligence, including competitor activities and customer behaviour
* Maintain and improve CRM systems for sales lead management
* Contribute to enhancing the company's market profile and reputation
Ideal Candidate
* Proven sales ability and negotiation skills
* Strong IT skills for managing systems and databases
* Proactive in seeking information and understanding customer needs
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Experience in the aggregate, waste management, or construction industry
* Full UK driving licence
