Job overview Quality Manager We are looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System across our Pathology service. This is a key leadership role ensuring our laboratories meet ISO 15189 and all regulatory, accreditation and governance requirements. Main duties of the job Main Responsibilities Manage and develop the Pathology Quality Management System. Lead the department through UKAS, HTA, MHRA and other inspections. Oversee risk management, incident processes and internal audit programmes. Support continuous improvement through KPI monitoring and data analysis. Line manage the Quality & Business Officers and provide expert guidance to clinical and managerial teams. Deliver QMS-related training and ensure documentation is controlled and up to date. About You Relevant degree and qualification/experience in Quality Management. Experience with ISO standards and quality systems (ideally ISO 15189). Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Ability to analyse data, manage competing priorities and drive improvement. NHS or healthcare experience is desirable.
