Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Catering Manager, you will play an essential role in the smooth operation of our school kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the Catering Manager with the daily running of the kitchen
* Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
* Helping with the setup and clearing of dining spaces
* Receiving and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries
* Supporting other kitchen staff as needed
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and committed to making a difference. The ideal candidate will have:
* Passionate about food and nutrition within a school environment
* Previous experience in a catering or food service environment (essential)
* Qualification in Catering and Hospitality (or equivalent)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
* The ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
