Quality Manager – Quality Management System

What you’ll do…
As a Quality Manager for the Quality Management System (QMS), you will oversee compliance with all quality requirements and integrate health, safety, and environmental systems at the Somerset site. You will collaborate closely with the central IMS team across all site operations.
Reporting to the Head of Plant Quality, your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and developing the QMS to ensure compliance with third-party accreditations;
2. Leading the quality function to ensure consistency, sustainability, and standardization of quality systems, and developing quality strategies with customers;
3. Developing, implementing, and measuring Quality KPIs;
4. Engaging employees to understand their responsibilities and fostering a culture of quality and safety;
5. Serving as SME on business process maps (SIPOC);
6. Initiating containment and corrective actions for non-conformities and customer complaints, including root cause analysis and technical responsibility assessment;
7. Applying quality and continuous improvement tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, SPC, and Lean 6S to resolve quality and operational issues;
8. Conducting periodic internal audits in accordance with IATF 16949 standards and reporting on quality and safety metrics.

The team you’ll join…
The Quality team is dynamic and covers company quality, product quality, and plant quality. As a relatively new team, you will play a key role in creating and implementing new processes and helping to build large-scale manufacturing lines from the ground up.
What you’ll bring…
* Lead Auditor certification in IATF 16949
* Experience as an internal auditor for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is a plus
* Highly organized with excellent time management skills
* Ability to handle issues within short deadlines and escalate when necessary
* Effective communication, problem-solving, and writing skills
