Elevation Recruitment Group's HR division are looking for an experienced HR Manager to take the lead in shaping and delivering HR operations and strategy across the UK and EMEA sites for one of our Manufacturing clients based in Leeds.
This is a hands on role, ideal for someone who’s confident managing both operational and strategic HR priorities while driving cultural and organisational performance. As well as supporting the UK leadership team the role will also be pivotal is providing HR and employment legislation solutions to smaller sites in Europe.
You’ll lead and develop HR initiatives that align with business goals, supporting leaders to build a high performing, engaged workforce.
The HR Manager will:
* Lead HR operations across UK and remote support to European sites, aligning people strategy with business objectives (this will only involve limited travel to Europe)
* Advise leaders on employment law, employee relations and HR best practice relevant to specific country employment laws.
* Drive engagement initiatives and foster an open, performance-led culture
* Support on acquisitions pre and post tupe, including ongoing harmonisation
* Oversee recruitment and talent management across hourly and salaried positions
* Manage HR systems, reporting, and compliance across regions (including GDPR)
* Partner with HSE teams to support workplace health and safety initiatives
1. Key Skills & Experience required:
* Degree in HR, Business, or related field
* 5+ years in HR management, including leadership experience
* c2 years exposure to supporting European locations on HR legislation
* Strong knowledge of European employment law and HR best practices
* Proven track record handling ER cases with confidence and integrity
* Experience in a private equity or M&A environment is an advantage
