Job Description
Quality Manager – Basingstoke (Hybrid role with International Travel)
We’re looking for an experienced Central Quality Manager to drive and embed a “Built-in Quality” strategy across multiple manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Head of Central Quality, you’ll play a key role in ensuring consistent quality standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on major quality escalations and support site teams in resolving complex issues
- Drive complaint management, ensuring timely closure and root cause analysis
- Standardise and monitor quality KPIs, audits, and reporting across sites
- Coordinate cross-site problem solving and maintain defect catalogues
- Support ISO9001 compliance and supplier quality assurance processes
- Deliver training and coaching to build site-level quality capability
- Partner with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to improve performance
What we’re looking for:
- Degree (or equivalent) in a technical or quality discipline
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement
- Ability to analyse data and translate technical findings into clear insights
- Proven capability in problem solving and influencing across teams
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Experience in a Manufacturing business (Automotive or Aerospace would be ideal)
