Starting Pay: $17.00 Hour
Position Description:
Responsible for overseeing, leading, and achieving sales goals for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliates. Manages daily sales floor operations, leads the team, and drives business performance. Builds, leads, and retains motivated, high-performing teams through effective leadership of Retail Sales Associates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Execute retail operations plans to meet profit, revenue, and production goals.
* Make decisions related to daily retail operations within your area.
* Conduct inventory of new goods and ensure proper reporting.
* Reconcile and balance daily paperwork.
* Ensure excellent customer service to donors and customers.
* De-escalate customer issues and involve management when needed.
* Maintain store operations, including cleanliness and appearance.
* Transfer between stores as needed.
* Oversee daily sales floor operations and standards.
* Mentor and train Retail Sales Associates.
* Ensure store compliance with security, health, and safety policies.
* Assist with tasks like bank deposits, store support, and training.
* Handle complex sales transactions and returns.
* Collaborate on company vision and team engagement.
* Manage performance, staffing, compensation, and development of team members.
* Drive company culture change and model core values: Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
* Preferred: One year in Retail Management.
* Required: One year customer service experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
* Proficient in English reading and speaking.
