About the Role
My client, a well-established aerospace manufacturer in Hampshire, is seeking an ambitious and driven Quality Manager to take the lead of their quality function and play a key role in the company's exciting growth journey.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who wants to leave their mark - the business has set a goal to double its current £4m turnover, and the Quality Manager will be central to making this happen.
You will lead a small team, oversee supplier approvals, ensure compliance with aerospace manufacturing standards, and be the main point of contact for all quality matters across a 40-strong workforce and a number of high-profile customers.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the quality team, including supervisor and inspectors
* Manage supplier approvals and conduct audits
* Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and customer requirements
* Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related communication internally and externally
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business
* Support strategic growth objectives through quality-led improvements
Qualifications
* Aerospace manufacturing experience
* Knowledge of CNC precision machining processes
* Strong internal and external communication skills
* Proven experience with supplier approvals
* Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment
* Drive, ambition, and a results-focused mindset
* Self-motivated with the ability to make confident, independent decisions
* Experience in implementing process improvements
