Reports to the Head of Reward
Working closely with the Head of Reward, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing performance strategies that align with our organisation's goals. Your primary responsibility will be to design and manage incentive and recognition programs, fostering a culture of high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement performance management strategies to enhance organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of performance initiatives with overall business objectives.
3. Design and oversee transparent and consistent performance evaluation processes.
4. Create and manage both annual and long term incentive programs to motivate and reward high-performing individuals and teams.
5. Develop recognition programs to celebrate and acknowledge outstanding achievements.
6. Analyse performance data to identify trends and provide insights for continuous improvement.
7. Collaborate with HR partners to integrate performance initiatives into broader talent management strategies.
8. Communicate performance expectations and initiatives clearly to all levels within the organisation.
9. Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in performance management.
10. Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation through performance strategies.
11. Work with the wider team to ensure delivery of the Aztec Reward agenda.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
12. Proven experience in delivering performance management solutions, with a focus on strategy development and implementation.
13. Familiarity with both long and short term incentive program design, including knowledge of share plans and recognition practices, is essential.
14. Proven analytical and data interpretation skills.
15. Multi-jurisdictional experience is a must, ideally from within the banking/financial services sector.
16. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
17. Awareness of global tax laws and implications on plan design.
18. Demonstrated ability to drive and deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced, growing organisation ideally of 1000+ employees.
19. Previous experience of working with survey providers (WTW, Maclagan) and building networks.
20. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, together with strong interpersonal skills.
21. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing compensation data.
22. Experience of Workday or similar HR software is desirable.
