As Deputy Cook you will help deliver healthy meals to the children in our school working closely with the team to keep our kitchen running smoothly. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Responsibilities
* Preparing and cooking meals for pupils
* Deputising in the absence of the Catering Manager
* Supporting all aspects of kitchen service
* Assisting the Catering Manager with the ordering of goods
* Ensuring all food health and safety regulations are followed
* Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
* Being mindful of dietary and allergen needs
Qualifications
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable team player with a passion for food. If you have good verbal and written communication skills, an in-date Food Safety Level 2 certificate, and a “can do” attitude, we would love to hear from you. Experience in a similar environment is desired.
