Quality Manager Location: Greater Manchester Length: Permenant Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a passion of improving and ensuring compliance to the company's quality management system? We are recruiting this fantastic Quality Manager role for a thriving Manufacturing/Engineering business. If you have Lead Auditor experience and a proven track record overseeing Quality Management Systems within a Manufacturing or Production environment, then read on to learn more! What will the role involve? Managing, improving and ensuring compliance for driving a culture of continuous improvements Overseeing external audits (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS9100), acting as the main point of contact for external auditors Delivering internal audit programmes including training of internal colleagues and closing any subsequent audit actions Carrying out supplier audits across the business' sub-contractor network Ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely resolution of complaints Monitoring, evaluating and improving manufacturing performance using various quality methodologies and KPI's Driving improvements in Quality policies and procedures across all areas of the business, creating a culture of operational excellence and 'Right First-Time' mindset Ideal Skills and Experience Previous experience as a Quality Manager in a highly regulated Manufacturing or Production environment (Aerospace or Automotive would be ideal but not essential) Proven track record as Lead Auditor with experience leading both internal and external audits Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS9100 (or similar) Honed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Data-driven approach with good analytical ability Passion for identifying and implementing continuous improvements (Lean Six Sigma would be an advantage but not essential) About Cast UK Cast UK is a leading executive consultancy, providing national recruitment solutions to both clients and candidates.
