A brilliant opportunity for a hands-on People leader who can shape and drive our operational people strategy. You’ll partner closely with our People Director and Group Operations Director to elevate performance, build capability, and build an industry leading culture. With a deep understanding of our operational reality, you’ll help guide commercially sound, people centred decisions, champion a culture of recognition and development, and evolve, own, and deliver impactful people initiatives that truly move the dial.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Partner with the People Director to shape and embed the people strategy across the organisation
2. Along with the Regional People Managers, own the development and delivery of the annual people plan
3. Work with the Organisational Development Manager to coordinate the design and delivery of key annual processes and new initiatives
4. Collaborate with the Talent Attraction Manager to ensure parks are fully resourced and seasonal recruitment is well planned
5. Support complex ER cases and ensure compliance with employment law
6. Support organisational design and structure changes with the People Director
7. Work with the Group Operations Director to drive a culture of recognition and career development
8. Analyse labour turnover and help develop strategies to increase retention and reduce attrition costs
9. Ensure strong employment law practice, including annual contract reviews and compliance
10. Partner with Finance and regional teams to deliver seamless annual pay and bonus reviews.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:
11. CIPD Level 7 qualification is desirable
12. BA/MSc in Human Resource Management or Organisational Psychology is desirable
13. Experience working in a multi-site operational environment
14. Proven track record of building and delivering an annual people plan
15. Experience managing an operational People team
16. Strong capability in handling complex employment cases while minimising commercial and reputational risk
17. Skilled at managing stakeholders at all levels
18. Ability to simplify and communicate complex issues clearly.
It’s the icing on the cake, but not essential if you have experience in the leisure and hospitality sector.
