We are searching for a Technical IFS Developer to support our client's transition from IFS Apps 10 to IFS Cloud, with a planned go-live next September. The business is currently in the design phase—having progressed slightly beyond it—and will begin building configurations after Christmas.
We require an experienced Technical IFS professional with proven IFS Cloud expertise to bridge the technical knowledge gap within the internal team. You will support the full implementation lifecycle, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned to best practice.
Responsibilities
* Support the successful implementation and configuration of IFS Cloud across the organisation.
* Translate functional specifications into high-quality technical solutions.
* Develop, customise, and configure IFS Cloud components to meet business requirements.
* Build and maintain clear technical documentation for all development work.
* Ensure effective management of update and release processes within IFS Cloud.
* Carry out hands-on testing to validate releases, configurations, and customisations.
* Work closely with functional consultants to assess customisation needs and define appropriate technical outcomes.
* Provide expertise on reporting within IFS Cloud, ideally using Report Designer, given the move away from Crystal Reports.
* Support database activities related to IFS, ideally leveraging experience with Oracle database management.
* Collaborate with project teams during design, build, testing, and deployment phases.
