Job Description
We are recruiting for a qualified Site Manager with experience in delivering void projects in social housing; this experience is essential for the role. This role is not in new build construction; we are seeking someone experienced in delivering voids within social housing.
About Gilmartins: Gilmartins is a family-owned and operated business. Our staff are valued, and our ethos promotes from within. Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools themselves, giving them a 'hands-on' understanding of the work we do. We work in social housing, providing void refurbishments for local authorities and housing associations.
The Role:
* Managing void property refurbishments, including site surveys, task management, snagging, minor repairs, and lock changes.
* Working across Swindon, Wiltshire.
* Living centrally to this area and willing to travel between sites.
* Validating property works.
* Running and managing sites.
* Allocating and controlling work for subcontractors and staff.
* Inspecting completed jobs.
* Maintaining and promoting quality, health, and safety on site.

Requirements for the Job:
* Full UK manual driving license (not EU or automatic license).
* SMSTS qualification.
* DBS certificate.
* CSCS card.

Hours of work are 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday or Sunday in four required (paid in addition to salary).
