Remedy Developer
Location: South West (2–3 days a week on site – Bristol/Wales region)
Salary: Up to £85,000 + bonus
Clearance: Eligibility for enhanced Security Clearance
Our client is a global professional services and technology transformation firm delivering secure, high-impact programmes across the public and private sector. They work with organisations to design and modernise critical systems that support national infrastructure and citizen services.
They’re looking for an experienced Remedy Developer to join a secure transformation project. This is a niche opportunity for a specialist with strong BMC Remedy experience to help design, build and enhance enterprise-level ITSM platforms in a highly secure environment.
The Role
You’ll design, develop, and maintain applications within the BMC Remedy ITSM suite, supporting key ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll collaborate with automation engineers and technical leads to integrate Remedy with wider enterprise platforms and continuously improve system performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and customise BMC Remedy applications, workflows, forms, and integrations.
* Configure and maintain ITSM modules, troubleshooting issues and optimising performance.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align Remedy functionality with business processes.
* Develop documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.
* Support system upgrades, enhancements, and integration workstreams.
Skills and Experience
* Strong background in BMC Remedy ITSM development and configuration.
* Understanding of ITIL framework and service management best practices.
* Experience in workflow design, scripting, and system integrations.
* Knowledge of JavaScript or related programming skills.
* Experience with cloud-based Remedy deployments desirable.
* Problem-solving mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Sole British Nationality required (for SC clearance eligibility).
