About the Role
Our client, a respected main contractor specialising in high-quality commercial fit outs, is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced project kicking off in January next year. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the works are delivered safely, on programme, and to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all on-site activities for the fit out project
* Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and site logistics
* Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations
* Monitor programme, quality, and progress, reporting to the Project Manager
* Maintain site documentation and daily records
* Lead site meetings and resolve issues efficiently
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial or retail fit out projects
* Strong understanding of H&S and construction processes
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black / Gold), and First Aid certifications
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
* Ability to work autonomously and maintain high standards under pressure
