Job Details

* Job Title: Enterprise Data Architect
* Department: IT
* Location: hybrid (minimum one day per week at our Aldgate, London head office)
* Hours of work: 37.5 hours (Monday to Friday), with some out-of-hours cover and occasional weekends
* Contract: permanent, full-time
* Salary:£52,000 per annum
* Closing date: Monday 2nd June at 11.59pm
* Annual leave: 33 days (plus eight bank holidays)

About Dementia UK

Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia, a progressive and complex condition affecting individuals and their families. Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity providing free advice, support, and understanding through our Admiral Nurses, helping families live better lives for longer.


Role Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK as an Enterprise Data Architect, where you will shape data management, governance, and usage strategies aligned with the charitys goals. You will design, develop, and manage the data architecture, ensuring data assets provide maximum value and insights, by establishing robust data management practices such as classification, security, quality, ethics, and retention.

You will coordinate data analysis, design, and modelling techniques based on organizational requirements, using relevant tools and strategies. The role is informed by standards from BCS, SFIA, and IT Skills Framework, particularly in Data Management, Modelling, and Analytics.


Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent certification, with significant experience in data modelling, database design, and integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in data management tools, are essential.
