Sensata Technologies offers its customers and suppliers a comprehensive electronic data transaction solution via EDI and other structured formats (XML, EDIFACT, CSV, etc.). The EDI Team is responsible for working with customers and suppliers to setup all necessary technical and business-related requirements for a successful integration for these electronic documents.
As EDI Mapping Developer you will have opportunity to provide support for day-to-day and new development activities for all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)-related systems and interface points. This position will require interaction with both internal and external customers and coordination of activities with our 3rd-party providers.Functional Tasks/Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Take part in all application development lifecycle phases
2. Design and develop data mapping based on the customer’s specifications and their business and operational needs
3. Support existing EDI partner and process maps
4. Work with various experts and 3rd party vendors to define, create and integrate new processes in productive system
5. Lead EDI projects from initial design through testing, validation and implementation
6. Assist cross functional business teams to develop new or modify existing solutions, per individual needs to help support delivery of organizational requirements
7. Collaborate with operational and cross-functional teams to develop and execute operational plans, programs and technology solutions to support Sensata undertakings and acquisitions
8. Diagnose, document, and manage customer needs during a deployment/migration.
9. Prepare complete functional design documentation for implemented solutions.
10. Provide accurate and timely logging of problems and their resolution.
11. Coach other members of the team on EDI related processes

Required Qualifications:
17. Strong Experience in Map development with major standards
18. Strong Experience with Seeburger BIS6 and BIC Mapping Designer
19. Experience with SQL
20. Experience with different EDI message formats (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, VDA, ODETTE, XML, IDoc, Oracle Flat files) is considered a strong advantage
21. Experience of AS2, SFTP, OFTP/OFTP2 and VAN communications
22. Experience with onboarding EDI partners
23. Experience using or supporting an ERP System (Oracle R12 preferably)
24. Ability to execute basic commands in Linux terminal is a plus
