The Role
As a Senior BY Dispatcher WMS Engineer, you will lead the design, configuration, and optimisation of warehouse management systems. You’ll ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics by managing integrations, monitoring data flows, and resolving issues. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and collaboration across teams to improve warehouse efficiency and meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead WMS design, configuration, and implementation, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. Analyse and optimise system performance, develop enhancements, and resolve defects. Produce functional and technical specifications, manage integrations, and support testing activities to ensure high-quality delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate timelines, track progress, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Your Profile
Strong experience with BY/JDA WMS Dispatcher, including configuration, upgrades, and optimisation. Proven ability to design and deliver WMS solutions, develop enhancements, and implement fixes with minimal disruption. Skilled in writing specifications, executing test plans, and ensuring software quality.
Experience with PL/SQL and Shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and knowledge of Azure cloud technologies are advantageous. Ability to assess business needs, propose solutions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is key.
