Job Title: HR Officer Location: Antrim, Office based Salary / Range: Up to £37,000 FTE Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (30 hours per week) Summary VANRATH are assisting a respected organisation in Antrim as they appoint a capable HR Officer to support day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload, works with accuracy, and provides a professional and approachable HR service to staff and management. What do you need? CIPD qualification (or working towards) Solid experience in a generalist HR position, ideally within a busy, multi-disciplinary environment Strong understanding of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration Experience supporting managers with HR queries, offering clear and pragmatic guidance Confident working with HR systems and producing accurate records and reports What you will do each day Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing timely and accurate guidance to employees and managers Support the full recruitment cycle including drafting job adverts, shortlisting, arranging interviews, and coordinating onboarding Assist with employee relations matters such as sickness absence, performance concerns, and informal queries, escalating as appropriate Maintain HR records, employee files, and system data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and legislation Prepare documentation including contracts, variations, correspondence, and reports Assist with monthly payroll preparation, ensuring changes and updates are processed correctly Contribute to learning and development activities by coordinating training requests and maintaining training records Help develop and update HR policies, procedures, and staff communications For further information on this job, or any other HR role in Northern Ireland, apply via the link or contact Ryan Sykes for a confidential chat today.
